Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) dials in your drive tones
The tube-powered Blackstar HT-20RH MK III packs a massive spread of tones by virtue of its Blackstar's Infinite Shape Feature (ISF). When turned fully counterclockwise, you'll lend an American characteristic to your voice, with a tight bottom end and aggressive middle range. Turned all the way to the right, you'll enjoy more of a British vibe with a woodier sound that's less aggressive. However you dial in the HT-20RH MK III, you'll enjoy a musical response that commands attention.
Turn down the volume with 2-watt power scaling
A cranked low-wattage tube amplifier is truly one of the all-time classic tones of the 6-string world. Still, even medium-powered amps like the 20-watt Blackstar HT-20RH MK III deliver a window-rattling degree of decibels when pushed to their limit, making traditional cranked-up saturation unfeasible for musicians with volume concerns. Luckily, the Blackstar HT-20RH MK III’s onboard power scaling circumvents the issue entirely, allowing you to tame your amp all the way down to 1/10th power for screaming tube saturation at home-appropriate volumes.
Cutting-edge cab sims onboard
Thanks to the HT-20RH MK III’s baked-in CabRig technology, you'll never need to mic a guitar speaker again. This state-of-the-art speaker simulation DSP allows you to choose from hundreds of microphone and cabinet combinations from within Blackstar's easy-to-use Architect software. You can then output your CabRig signal on a 1/4-inch unbalanced or XLR-balanced cable or straight to your computer-based recording setup via USB.
