On the 5-piece Yamaha Stage Custom Nouveau drum set, toms groan with tone, bass drums are deep and thunderous and the wood snare drum is crisp and responsive. Rich finishes adorn deeper and thinner 8-ply shells with 1.6mm triple-flange steel hoops and birch (outer ply), Philippine mahogany, and falkata construction. Yamaha's Air Seal System used for shell construction ensures each and every shell is of uniform thickness and perfectly round to achieve superior tone quality and durability. If you are looking for even more tones to play with, it's very easy to add an additional Stage Custom Nouveau tom (sold separately) to the set.
